Physician Care Philosophy
My approach to urology health care is:
1. To acknowledge the patient and family in a very important patient-doctor relationship while listening and attending to patient needs.
2. Introduce the patient to their Urologic disease by explanation of their pertinent exams and urological findings.
3. When I receive further tests or surgery findings, I re-examine the differential diagnosis and make sure that I have addressed each of the various possibilities. I will listen carefully, use diagrams when necessary, and create worst and best case scenarios in formulating a final diagnosis and treatment options.
4. We will discuss the urologic diseases and its ramifications. I am adamant that the patient and family members be intimately involved in all decisions when possible. I strive to practice evidence-based guidelines set forth by the American Urological Association and Board of Urology.
5. My mission is to offer best practices in urology. I strive to have patients understand their disease. I commit to answer all questions and outline treatment options.
6. My goal is to help patients heal throughout the medical and surgical treatment course and understand post-op care instructions and schedule follow-ups as needed.
Thank you for allowing me to consult in your urologic health needs,
